Science Unit Test Wednesday-
Grade 2- Life-Cycles, Word Meanings, Importance of animals to humans, 6 groups of animals and their characteristics, Adaptation of animals (what helps them survive in their environment)
Metamorphosis- means change from larva or tadpoles to adults),
life-cycle -the series of changes in the life of a living thing
classifications - means sorting into classes or groups,
herbivores (animals eating plants), carnivores (animals eating meat), omnivores (animals eating vegetables and meat both).
Hibernation- animals sleep through the winter
Migration- animal travel long distance
